ABOUT US

The LRC Charitable Foundation Limited (LRCCF) intends to interact with the wider Hong Kong community and makes grants to local charities and non-governmental organisations to positively impact the social, economic, educational, cultural and overall well-being of our community.

With its establishment, the Foundation enables the LRC to be more active in supporting worthy causes and allows LRC members the opportunity to directly participate by visiting and supporting local community organisations throughout Hong Kong.

The LRC Charitable Foundation is a registered Hong Kong tax-exempt organisation as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IRD No. 91/18151).

MISSION

The LRC Charitable Foundation genuinely cares about the community we work and live in. We are committed to contributing back to society by supporting the community-based NGOs and providing assistance to the disadvantaged in Hong Kong.

		Scarlett Mattoli
		*Chair*
		Dr. Scarlett Mattoli is a clinical psychologist specialising in work and research in the areas of neurodevelopment (ND) and ND differences throughout the lifespan, family/parenting, and chemical and behavioural dependencies/compulsions. Scarlett’s passion for mental health and well-being dates back to her high school years, and she has diligently pursued her education, training, and professional experience since the early 1990s. Having lived in the UK, US, Europe, and Asia, she possesses a deep understanding of diverse societies and environments, which she gained through her work in both public and private sectors. Her previous roles in research, management, consultancy and lecturing in corporations and academic institutions have provided her with invaluable management and organizational experience.
		Having relocated to Hong Kong with her family in 2005, Scarlett has wholeheartedly embraced the city as her home. Since 2006, she has been an enthusiastic member of the LRC. Her commitment to the Club is evident through her extensive involvement in various roles. She has served on the LRC General Committee as Vice President from 2014 to 2015 and President from 2015 to 2017, and prior to that, she has also served on various Sub-Committees including Junior Activities and Library.

		Ming Wong
		*Chief Financial Officer*
		Ming Wong is Vice President, Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships at Enuma, Inc., a mission-driven global EdTech company that uses gamification to allow young children to teach themselves reading, writing and arithmetic. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific of United Way Worldwide and CEO of Asia Community Ventures. Before transitioning into a second career focusing on social innovation and philanthropy, Ming was an investment banker for more than 20 years in New York and Hong Kong and ran a family office in Singapore.
		Ming has been a member of LRC since April 2003.

		Director
		Ben is the President & CEO of C Capital. He is committee member of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Mainland Business Advisory Committee, Vertex SEA Fund and Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.
		Ben has been a member of the LRC since 2022.

		Margurite Hess
		Director
		Margurite Hess has lived in Hong Kong for more than 27 years. She is currently a member of the Hong Kong Tennis Association's League Management Committee. Margurite regularly does volunteer work and has worked in various capacities at numerous ATP and WTA tennis events in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. She has been involved in organising the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Tennis tournaments at the LRC for many years.
		Margurite has been a member of the LRC since 2010. She has served on the LRC General Committee for 2 years (2019-21) and has served on the Tennis Subcommittee for 6 years, including two years as the Tennis Convenor.

		Yujin Kim
		Director
		Yujin Kim is a Korean-born mother with a background in finance, including her previous role as a credit analyst at Moody's Investors Service. Inspired by her husband's success as the founder of Casetify, she has become passionate about corporate social responsibility and community service. As a full-time housewife, Yujin has developed a keen interest in giving back to the community through her experiences as a mother. She has been a member of LRC since 2022 and joined LRC Charitable Foundation in 2023.

		James Kilpatrick
		Director
		James has been living in Hong Kong since 1999. With over 35 years of experience in the Logistics sector, he previously served as the Far East CEO and Intercontinental Board Member of Logwin AG, a listed firm on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, before leaving to establish his own venture in China, focusing on fashion logistics. As a newly appointed Director of the LRC Charitable Foundation, he is looking forward to proactively engaging in the development of the Foundation.
		James has been a Rotarian for many years and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He has been a member of the LRC since 2020.

		Stephen Lable
		Director
		Stephen has more than twenty years of legal experience in the United States and Asia that spans working as a senior litigation associate and overseeing office administration for two different Amlaw 25 firms. In 2019, he opened The Lable Group, a global legal recruiting and consulting firm based in Hong Kong. Stephen has extensive non-profit experience having served as the Chairman of the Board of a high-rise condominium complex in downtown Boston. He also served on the Executive Committee of The Rivers School, a co-educational, college preparatory day school. Stephen is currently serving on the Board of a children's summer camp based in the United States.
		Being members since 2019, the Lable family are active tennis members of the Club, and Stephen has served on the LRC General Committee as the CSR & Community Engagement Convenor since 2022.

		Soundari Mukherjea
		Director
		Soundari Mukherjea runs a leadership consultancy firm focusing on business storytelling, change and transformation initiatives and focused skills. She has worked for over 25 years in Hong Kong, Middle East and India with organisations like Unilever and ANZ Grindlays and TSol. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from a leading Business School in India. She is part of the Executive Committee for EMPOWER by The Amber Foundation and a mentor with a few NGOs.
		Soundari has been a member of the LRC since 2010 and has served on the CSR Subcommittee in 2018 and 2019.

		Elisa Skilton
		Director
		Elisa lived in NYC for almost 30 years before coming to HK in 2011. She obtained her undergraduate and MBA degrees from New York University (NYU) and worked in the accounting and finance industry for over 15 years with various multinational accounting and finance companies. She works as a financial advisor in HK and is active with the ESG and charity community. In 2015, she also co-founded the NYU Alumni Association in Hong Kong where she still serves as an active board member.
		Elisa is an avid Mahjong player and has been a member of LRC since 2017.
