On Saturday, 9 September 2006, a new chapter in the long history of the Club began with the opening of the May Road Building just behind the Family Clubhouse. The May Road Building represents a significant enhancement in the facilities available to members. It provides much needed space for children aged 10 and up and offers places to go and things to do during inclement weather.

The May Road Building includes a 5-star spa featuring the latest in treatments from around the world, a bowling alley and snack bar, a floor totally dedicated to junior activities, a soft play area, a library and business centre, and two covered tennis courts. The Club's administrative and accounting offices are also located in this building.
